Core Drilling & Services

What areas of Florida do you serve?

We're based in Central Florida and we travel statewide. Our core area includes Marion, Lake, Sumter, Citrus, Alachua, Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Volusia counties, and we mobilize to the Panhandle, North Florida, the Space Coast, Southwest Florida and South Florida. If your project is in Florida, we can get there.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Logos Concrete Solutions is licensed and insured, and license and insurance documentation is provided upon request — just ask when you request your quote.

Can you drill the size hole I need?

Tell us the size and location of the opening you need and we'll confirm the right setup when you request a quote.

How clean and accurate are your holes?

Diamond core drilling produces a smooth, perfectly round hole with no spalling, no hammering and no micro-fractures in the surrounding concrete. We set up on layout marks or a template, bolt down or vacuum-mount the rig, and drill true to plumb or to the exact angle you specify.

Do you control dust and water?

Yes. We wet-drill to keep silica dust down and capture slurry with vacuums, water rings and containment so finished floors, occupied spaces and electrical rooms stay clean. Dry-coring with vacuum extraction is available where water isn't allowed.

What about rebar, post-tension cables and buried utilities?

Before we drill, we coordinate with you or your GC to confirm hole locations are clear of post-tension cables, conduit and other embedded utilities. We drill only to the cleared, marked layout you or your GC provide. Diamond core bits drill through ordinary rebar cleanly; when specific bars must be avoided, we adjust locations with your engineer's approval.

How fast can you get to my job?

We aim to respond to every online request within one business day and to schedule Central Florida work within a few days. Urgent and after-hours work is available — call us and we'll do our best to fit you in.

Do you work for homeowners or just contractors?

Both. We serve general contractors, plumbers, electricians, mechanical contractors and facility managers, and we're glad to help homeowners with dryer vents, plumbing penetrations, pool and drainage projects, and more.

Pricing & Quotes

How much does concrete core drilling cost?

Pricing depends on hole diameter, concrete thickness, rebar density, quantity, access (floor, wall or overhead) and travel distance. We price clearly — per hole, per foot, or per day for larger jobs — and there are no surprises. Send us the details for a fast quote.

Is there a minimum charge?

Like most core drilling contractors we have a trip/minimum charge that covers mobilization and setup. Grouping several holes or tasks into one visit is the most cost-effective approach. Ask us for current minimums for your area.

Do you charge to travel outside Central Florida?

For projects outside our Central Florida base we may include a travel or mobilization line item. For multi-day or larger projects anywhere in Florida, this is often minimal relative to the job. We'll always show it clearly on your quote.

On the Job

What should I have ready before you arrive?

Clear access to the work area, hole locations marked (or drawings we can lay out from), a water source and 120V power if available, and any site-specific safety requirements. We bring our own vacuums, generators and containment when needed.

Can you drill overhead or in tight spaces?

Yes. We drill overhead into decks and beams with water-capture systems, and we use compact, handheld core drills for crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, shafts and other tight spots.

Can you work nights or weekends?

Yes. For occupied buildings, retail, schools, hospitals and other sensitive sites we can schedule off-hours work to keep noise and disruption away from your occupants.

Do you remove the cores and clean up?

Always. We remove all cores, vacuum up slurry and leave your work area clean and ready for the next trade.

About Our Company

Who do you work with?

We serve general contractors, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and fire-protection contractors, utility companies, property managers, municipalities and homeowners across Florida.

Do you take on every project?

Logos Concrete Solutions is an Orthodox Christian business and we offer our work to the glory of God. Because of that, we respectfully decline a small number of projects that conflict with our values. If that ever applies, we'll tell you right away — kindly and plainly — so your schedule isn't held up.
